SR-22 and SR-26 Service Now Available for Washington Department of Licensing

In February 2021, NIC Insurance Filings rolled out new filing service with the Washington Department of Licensing (DOL) for SR-22 and SR-26 insurance forms. These forms apply to high-risk personal auto insurance as part of our expansion beyond the motor carrier insurance sector.

NIC Insurance Filings prompts users to provide the exact information types required by the DOL, including vehicle information and coverage types. As with other filings, users receive back status updates on their SR-22 and SR-26 filings by email and can track progress using NIC Insurance Filings online reporting features.

NIC Insurance Filings offers more service to Washington as well, partnering with the Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission to facilitate electronic filings of Forms E, H, and K.

SR-22 and SR-26 service is also available for filings to the Iowa Department of Transportation.
